Distraction from Technology in Student`s Life

Technology is a gift of science. It helps a lot to give aid to humanity example: traditionally people used to wash clothes by hand but nowadays people use washing machines. Similarly, dishwashers, microwaves, and many other gadgets are being used by humans to make their lives easier but as we all know excess of anything is harmful so the excess of digital technology can also cause harm to the human lifestyle.

Nowadays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, people are staying in doors and using digital technology in excess for leisure as well as for work, which is not good. Children prefer staying at home, playing video games then going outdoors, which is diverting them from their studies and affecting their health by reducing physical activity. These days people are watching phones and electronic gadgets in excess peoples causing students and other, people to sleep late at night and wake up late in the morning, disturbing their sleep cycle and studies.

Contents availableon the internet and the use of social media further more hold a big role in detracting students. Some students watch in appropriate contents which affect their behavior adversely, resulting in them getting engaged in the wrong activities. Also, the news nowadays is mostly about disease and deaths due to Covid-19 which can make some students anxious and can be detrimental to their mental well-being.

In conclusion, where technology can be a greathelp for humankind, its excessive unmonitored use canbe immensely distracting and act as a bane for humankind.
