The House System of the School is deeply entrenched and occupies a prominent place in the School Life of the students. These houses essentially are the backbone of the discipline of the school. “A child's mind is a chest full of treasure waiting to be unearthed.” To give path to explore the latent talent of the students in various academics and cultural fields, the school has four houses:
Gandhi House
Motto: Be the change that you want to see in the world.
It is named after the father of the nation and inspiration for millions, Shri Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi who ignited the spirit in the very soul of millions for moving ahead with great zeal and passion.
Buddha House
Motto: Better then a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace.
The roots of this house are based on the teachings of Lord Buddha, which have not only given a deeper insight into one’s existence, but also made significant contribution in liberating one from the day-to-day conflicts in minds.
Tagore House
Motto: You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.
Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore was a Nobel Laureate and one of the most influential writers of Modern India. Gurudev surrendered his Knighthood to protest against the British Rule in India. Tagore endowed Gandhi with the title of Mahatma. This house wishes to initiate courage and confidence in its students.
Mandela House
Motto: It always seems impossible until it's done.
The house named after the Nobel anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician, and philanthropist: Mandela who believes in “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. The back bone of any school is discipline, and an important thing for anybody or any organization is to carry out its mandate if there is discipline, and where there is no discipline there can be no real progress. This house has the vision of imbibing discipline in its members.
