Aurum The Global School is proudly associated with Indian Award for Young People (IAYP) program. Aurum is the first YES (Youth Engaging Society) centre in the Haldwani region.

The school always believes in the vision of “Learning beyond the classroom”. The four tenets of IAYP viz. Physical Recreation, Community Service, Skill Development and Adventure Journey merged seamlessly with the inherent principle of the school. This award program is all about overcoming personal obstacles, and allowing each participant to proceed at their own pace while being guided by their objectives.

The Award program gives young people the chance to advance in knowledge, maturity, and skill. It strengthens their feeling of self-worth, raises knowledge of social and international problems, and promotes responsibility and empathy for others. Under this program, young people are inspired to take on new challenges, live life to the fullest, and discover their passions. The IAYP approach is flexible enough to consider each student's strengths and weaknesses before deciding on a set of objectives for each individual student's award program.
